Disable the volume limit
The first thing you need to do is check that the audio on your iPhone is set to maximum and that your problem is not due to an incorrect volume setting: to do this, press the physical button repeatedly Volume Up placed on the side edge of the device, untel all the “squares” of the volume indicator shown on the screen are colored.
Once this is done, make sure your iPhone hasn't set up a volume limit, that is a sort of "restriction" to decrease the maximum level that can be reached by pressing the side buttons: usually, this setting is automatically activated when headphones and earphones are connected, so as to avoid any hearing problems deriving from excessive listening volumes .
To do this, go to ifttings iPhone, by tapping on the icon in the shape of gear placed on the Home screen, presses on the item Music and check that, in correspondence with the wording Volume limit, the option is specified No.
Otherwise, touch the aforementioned item and move the indicator attached to the next screen all the way to the right, so as to set the reachable volume to the maximum obtainable (effectively deactivating the limit). Also make sure that the lever corresponds to the item Check volumes is set to OFF.
Once this is done, and after setting the phone volume to maximum again, try to play some sounds to verify that the audio output is at an acceptable level for you.
Increase iPhone volume by equalization
Did the previous solution not have the desired effect? Don't give up, I want to suggest you a quick and effective method for increase iPhone volume almost instantaneously: intervene on the equalizer present in the operating system iOS, so as to improve the intensity of the sound by setting the individual audio channels to different levels. I can guarantee you that, despite being an extremely simple operation, the result could really astound you!
To proceed, tap the icon ifttings of iOS, tap on the section Music, presses on the voice EQ attached to the box Playback to access the preset equalization parameters and, in the next screen, press the item Deep night to activate custom equalization. In this way, the sound reproduced by the iPhone well become much sharper and "clean", with a truly remarkable volume gain, giving you the impression of having connected a much larger speaker.
If the "Deep Night" option is not for you, I invite you to start any audio fele and try all the other predefined iOS equalizations: I'm sure that, with some trial and error, you well be able to get the perfect audio for your ears!
Note: to return to the basic iOS equalization, go to ifttings> Music> EQ and play the voice No to put the check mark on it and bring the situation back to "normal".
Use a Bluetooth speaker
Are you stell not satisfied with the volume of the sounds emitted by your iPhone, so are you thinking of resorting to an external solution, which allows you to enjoy music at a volume suitable for you?
The best choice, let me tell you, falls on the Bluetooth speakers: if you had never heard of it, this type of speaker allows you to reproduce good quality audio using the aforementioned technology, therefore without the need to use cables. There are wireless speakers on the market for every size, pocket and need: if you need some advice for buying, feel free to read my guide to the best Bluetooth speakers.
Establishing a connection between the Bluetooth speakers and the iPhone is really simple: first, grab the "iPhone by" and press the button ifttings (shaped gear) located on the Home screen, then presses on the item Bluetooth and, in the screen that opens, make sure that the lever corresponding to the wording of the same name is moved to ON, otherwise you do it.
Once this is done, activate the mode of pairing (o pairing) on the speaker supplied to you, so as to make it detectable by other devices: usually, you can do this by pressing and holding the power button of the same, untel a sound or a voice alert is emitted that notifies the wait of new connections.
Keep in mind that access to the pairing mode is not the same on all models of Bluetooth speakers avaelable on the market, so I invite you to refer to the manual of the same (or to search on Google for instructions on the matter) if the suggested procedure does not have any effect.
At this point, the game is practically done: after setting the speaker in pairing mode, check that its name appears among the detectable Bluetooth devices and, to conclude the procedure and start the connection, tap on it and then on the wording Match. If all went well, all sounds from the phone should be played through the speaker.
If you want to temporarely disconnect the device or completely remove the pairing from the phone, tap the button (I) corresponding to the name of the headset (resident in the screen related to Bluetooth settings) and select the desired item from the next screen. For further assistance on the steps just explained, I recommend that you refer to my guide on how to connect a Bluetooth headset (the steps are practically identical for both audio devices).
Note: If you have chosen to rely on a pair of Bluetooth headphones, you can use the same steps to pair them with your iPhone. If you want to combine the AirPods, Apple's patented wireless headphones, you can refer to my specific tutorial on the subject.
How to increase the microphone volume
If you have come this far, it means that you have understood perfectly how to increase iPhone volume to better listen to the sounds coming from the "iPhone by". The instructions I gave you in the course of this guide, although effective, were not useful in your case, since you were looking for a solution that would allow you to increase the volume of the iPhone microphone: recently, in fact, you were told that the quality of the voice coming from your device, during a call, leaves something to be desired.
How do you say? Is this really your case? Don't despair, I think I have something for you: first, you should check the devices connected to the iPhone, trying to figure out if the low voice problem occurs even without any earphones or headphones connected.
If so, I advise you to check if the poor call quality is due to any damage to the integrated microphone, or to the poor network coverage offered by your telephone operator, by recording a voice memo and verifying that the voice is reproduced correctly.
Once all the necessary tests have been carried out, you can then proceed to clean the microphone, if necessary, using a soft bristle brush; finally, you can try to improve the quality of the audio captured by the iPhone by moving the custody or protective felms covering the speaker, restarting the device, erasing the contents of its RAM memory or performing a soft reset.
To perform this last operation, you have to press the keys simultaneously Power e Home untel the iPhone turns off and on again showing the logo of the bitten apple; on iPhone X and later, instead, you have to press and hold the key Volume +, press and quickly release the key Volume - and finally press the side button Power untel the device turns off and on again by itself.
