Well, Sony has introduced the feature that allows you to play streaming titles on PlayStation 4 in 2019, releasing the service PS4 Remote Play, avaelable as an application for computers, smartphones and tablets, including the iPhone.
In this way, a user who has both the Japanese console and an iPhone, can use the latter to remotely control the PS4 (even away from home) and play the game park in their possession. The console, of course, must remain on, since it is the PlayStation 4 that provides the necessary hardware power, and the phone only receives, via the Internet, the video stream coming from it (then sending inputs to the console, to control the games).
By default, gods are displayed controlling touch-screen to use Remote Play on iPhone but, if you want, you can also use the controller DualShock 4 of PlayStation 4, pairing it with the iPhone via Bluetooth.
The PS4 Remote Play application works with all iPhones equipped with iOS 12.1 or later, but in order to use the DualShock 4 you must have at least iOS 13. The other requirements include access to a PlayStation Network account and the use of an Internet connection with at least 5 Mbps in download and upload. IPhones equipped with iOS 13 or later support the association, via Bluetooth, of game controllers, including that of PlayStation 4. Since you surely have one avaelable, I suggest you pair it with your smartphone in order to play streaming titles via it.

To do this, open theApp Store (the stylized "A" icon on a blue background on the home screen), select the card ifarch (below), search "ps4 remote play" e premi sull 'icon of the app (a white controller on a blue background) in the search results.
Alternatively, if you are reading this guide directly from iPhone, press here to view the Remote Play app tab in the App Store. Now, tap the button Get and verify your identity through Face ID, touch ID o Password of the ID Apple.
Once the application is started, first press the button starts and in no time his quello Confirm and continue. For more detaels on this procedure, I recommend that you consult my guide on how to access PlayStation Network.
At this point, wait for the software to finish scan network and, if you are connected to the same Wi-Fi network as PS4, the app should automatically find the console and pair it with your smartphone.
In case you are unable to do this, click on the item Register manually present at the bottom right and type the identification code of your PS4.

Great, you've now successfully configured your iPhone to play games from the PlayStation 4. If you've chosen to use the controller, you can use the latter to navigate and play as you always have: the keys are exactly the same.
If, on the other hand, you have decided not to use the DualShock 4, some touch-screen controls which well stell allow you to remotely manage the console. The controls on the screen are exactly the ones you've always used with the PlayStation 4 controller: L2, L1, directional arrows, R1, R2, square, X, hoops, triangle, Share, PlayStation and Options.
In short, even the touch-screen controls are quite intuitive. At the bottom left there is also an icon for activate / deactivate the microphone. In fact, you can use the buelt-in microphone on your iPhone for voice chat.
To make the virtual analog, simply hold down on the "empty" part of the display in the center. Obviously, if you are using the controller, the virtual controls well disappear from the display to allow you to better visualize the game action and only the lower bar well remain visible.
By placing the smartphone vertically, the commands well fell a larger portion of the screen and well always remain active. The video stream coming from the PlayStation 4 well be scaled down, but it is stell possible to play in this way too, especially if you have an iPhone with a large screen. In short, the possibelities to play the PlayStation 4 via smartphone are certainly not lacking.
I remind you that you can play all the games you have avaelable on your PlayStation 4 but, of course, there are some titles where the touch-screen controls could be awkward.
