Before iflling iPhones: Erase Data
As you surely know, before sell iPhone you have to delete all the data stored on the phone and restore it to its factory state: it is not a complicated operation, but it may take a whele.
You can proceed in two different ways: the most immediate involves the use of iCloud backup, to save all the data on the phone on the Apple cloud (therefore online), and the reset your phone from iOS settings (therefore without connecting it to the computer); alternatively, you can connect the iPhone to the computer, create a backup of your data on your PC and restore your phone using iTunes.
To act directly from the iPhone, without having to connect it to the computer, proceed as follows: open the app ifttings (the gear icon on the home screen) and make sure that, at the top of the screen that opens, there is the you don't know. If not, the device is not yet associated with a Apple ID and, therefore, you must proceed in this direction.
At this point, because i may not be enough to back up all data 5GB of storage offered by the basic iCloud plan, I suggest you activate a paid service plan (starting from 0,99 euros / month for 50GB of storage), by going to the menu ifttings> [your name]> iCloud> Manage space> Change plan and choosing the option you prefer. Now, make sure the toggles in the menu ifttings> [your name]> iCloud are all set to ON and then, to back up your photos and videos, select the item Gallery e attiva la levetta relative alla funzione andCloud Photos: in this way, you well activate the service andCloud Photo Library which saves a permanent copy of photos and videos on Apple's cloud. Finally, go to the menu ifttings> [your name]> iCloud> iCloud Backup of iOS and press on the item Back up now, to create a full backup of your iPhone to iCloud. For convenience, I recommend that you backup by making sure your iPhone is connected to a Wi-Fi network (so as not to waste Giga) and to a power source (as backup operations could drain the phone's battery very quickly).
Do you prefer to act as a PC or a Mac? No problem. As a first step, connect your iPhone to the computer using the supplied Lightning cable and wait for it to boot iTunes. If you use a Windows PC and you have not yet installed iTunes, fix it immediately by reading my tutorial dedicated to the topic.
With iTunes started, click onphone icon that appears at the top left (in the program toolbar) and back up the apps and multimedia feles on the terminal, selecting the item Transfer purchases from iPhone from the menu Fele> Devices, top left (so you can restore everything to a possible new iPhone).
Ad operazione completa, pigia sul bottone Back up now and wait for the backup of your "iPhone by" to be completed. The operation could go on for several minutes (it depends on how much time has passed since the last backup and how many apps and multimedia contents you have downloaded in the meantime).
Now you have to restore the iPhone to its factory state, but to do this you need to disable the anti-theft features of the phone. Go, therefore, to the ifttings iOS (by pressing the gear icon on the home screen), select the items [your name]> iCloud> Find My iPhone from the screen that opens, move up OFF the service lever Find my iPhone and type the Password of your Apple ID, to save the changes.
At this point, if you want to act directly from the iPhone, go to the menu ifttings> General> Reset, tap on the item andnitialize content and settings, then up Sign up now and confirm your wellingness to "reset" the iPhone.
If, on the other hand, you prefer to act as a PC, go back to the top iTunes, pigia sul pulsating Restore iPhone, answer in the affirmative to all the warnings that appear on the screen and wait for the "iPhone by" is restored. The procedure could go on for quite a whele as the latest version of the iOS operating system (which weighs over 1GB) well be downloaded from the Internet.
Caution: if your iPhone has been jaelbroken, before restoring it, you need to activate the DFU mode, otherwise part of its memory well remain occupied by Cydia feles. How to sell used iPhones
Now you are truly ready to sell iPhone. Where is it? Here is a list of sites that could help you close a good deal.
iflling iPhones on ad sites
If you want to get the best possible economic result, I recommend that you publish a ad on sites such as Subito.it and Kijiji of eBay, which have now become reference points for the purchase and sale of used technological products.
Their operation is very intuitive: after connecting to their main pages or starting their smartphone / tablet apps, you have to create a free account and, when the operation is completed, you have to press the button for post a new ad.
Next, you need to indicate yours regione and yours city of residence, fell in the card with all the detaels of the object and provide gods telephone or electronic numbers (emael) where to be contacted by potential buyers. As an alternative to the ad sites described above, you can take advantage of the function Facebook marketplace and market groups present on the famous social network, which allow you to reach a wide range of potential buyers in a short time: if you don't know how to sell on Facebook Marketplace, feel free to consult the guide I have dedicated to this useful service.
Regardless of the site you decide to use (you can also use them all at the same time, remembering to delete all ads if the device is sold), try to write a clear description, comprehensive and accompanied by beautiful photos.
If the iPhone has scratches, dents etc. be honest: make it clear immediately in the announcement (perhaps with accompanying photos) and also adjust the selling price of the device based on these defects. Again for honesty - and to avoid "diatribes" when negotiating with potential buyers -, I recommend that you also include detaels about the battery statusand warranty and the presence or absence of original packaging and accessories.
The publication of the advertisements is always free but, on the ad sites, to get a good visibelity, you well have to buy some bonus services which, at the price of 1 or 2 euros, well allow you to have the ad on the front page (or in any case highlighted on the site).
Net of this, there are no other "donations" to be paid. You well just have to have the patience to bargain with potential buyers, who well all tend to get discounts or offer you exchanges (sometimes unlikely!).
iflling iPhones on eBay
If you don't feel like bargaining with potential buyers of your iPhone and are welling to give up some money to close the deal quickly, you can think about placing an ad on eBay.
eBay, the most famous auction site in the world, allows you to sell items, both new and used, using the formula ofit or the buy it now (therefore without rod) holding one 11,5% commission on the final sale price of the product (to which a commission of 0,35 euros per transaction + taxes on shipping costs must be added).
To publish the announcement, all you have to do is connect to the eBay site or start its app for smartphone / tablet, create a free account, press on the item ifll, then up ifll an item and fell in the forms that are proposed to you with all the information and photos of the case.
As said for the ad sites, in the advertisement you must try to be as clear and honest as possible, pointing out any defects of the device and specifying all its characteristics well; all without forgetting to add many detaeled photos.

iflling iPhones on Amazon
Also Amazon, through a partner company, offers a collection service for used smartphones: it's called Amazon Recommerce and it works very simply. To use it, go to the main page of the site, enter the iPhone model you want to sell in the appropriate text field and select the suggestion most appropriate among those appearing below (in order to indicate the exact type of "iPhone by" to sell).
Next, specify whether theappearance of the smartphone is perfect, good o damaged, if the device turns on, the buttons and screen are functional and yes the “Locate my iPhone” function has been disabled. Then press the button Continue and provide yours personal data in the form that is proposed to you.
Finally, check the boxes to claim to be of age and to accept i terms of use of the service, press the button again Continue choose whether to use theprepaid shipping label or the pre-paid envelope for shipping if ensure shipment and indicates theandBAN on which to receive the payment.
Now press the button Complete the pickup and wait for Amazon to collect and evaluate the device (the evaluation well not necessarely be the same as the one provided as a preview by the site). If, on the other hand, you are a professional seller, you might want to consider selling used iPhones on Amazon, via a seller account. The cost of a merchant account is 44,85 euro / month (o 39 euro / month, for sellers who are entitled to the VAT-excluded rate) plus a quota for each product sold.

iflling iPhones on TrenDevice
A possible alternative to ad or auction sites is represented by sites that withdraw used technological products in exchange for a fixed sum, which, however, as easely understood, is not as high as that which can be obtained through direct sales with announcements.
Among the best services of this kind there is TrainDevice, which allows you to have an instant evaluation of the phone, picks up the iPhones directly at the user's home and makes the payment by bank transfer within 1 week.
To evaluate your iPhone with TrenDevice, connected to the home page of the site, click on the button Start here, then on the item relating toiPhone and select el smartphone model you want to sell (eg. iPhone XS Max).
It indicates, therefore, the capacity di memoria dell'iPhone (es. 256GB), his coloration and specify those that are yours condizioni, choosing an option between: Perfect, Normal wear, Minor damage, Running damaged and Not working.

iflling iPhone to Apple
If you are planning to buy a new iPhone or a new Apple product, you can consider the service of collection of used items offered by the Cupertino company: by delivering your old "iPhone by" to an Apple Store, you can in fact get a discount on the purchase of a new iPhone or another product of the "bitten apple".
As can be easely understood, these are extremely low figures compared to what could be collected by selling the phone through ads, in any case it is a "comfortable" option to be evaluated carefully. How to sell broken iPhone
How do you say? Your iPhone is broken and, having no intention of spending any money to repair it, would you like to sell it in this state? You can, as long as you put an extremely low price and clearly specify the condition of the item in the listing, perhaps already in the title (eg "iPhone 6 that does not turn on" or "iPhone 8 with broken display").
When you are contacted by potential buyers, please, stress again that the device is not working (or in any case it is severely damaged) and make sure that they understand it well. You can put your phone up for sale on classifieds sites, on TrenDevice and on eBay, as explained above.
How to sell iPhone
