Transfer music NOT downloaded from iTunes
To copy to the Mac the songs that are present on the iPhone memory but have not been downloaded from the iTunes Store you have to resort to third-party applications, more precisely to alternative fele managers that are able to "read" the internal memory of the iOS devices and to perform operations such as, precisely, transfer music from iPhone to Mac.
iFunBox
Among the best free software to "read" the memory of iOS devices is iFunBox which is completely free and works with all iPhone models. To download it on your Mac, connect to its official website and click on the button Download placed next to the item iFunBox v 1.5 (in the box relating to iFunBox for Mac).
When the download is complete, open the fele dmg just downloaded to your Mac and copy the icon of iFunBox in the folder Applications of OS X. Then launch the program and connect the iPhone to the computer via USB cable. If when you try to start iFunBox you get an error message, right click on the software icon and select the item abrir give the menu to compare.
At this point, select the voice andOS system feles from the left sidebar; select the path iTunes_Control > Music and drag all the folders inside it to a new folder created specifically on your Mac.
When the operation is complete, close iFunBox and drag the folder in which you copied the music folders of the iPhone to the icon of iTunes located in the Dock bar: Apple's multimedia software well automatically analyze all the feles contained in the folders and add the music tracks to its library.
iMazing
If you want to analyze the contents of your iPhone more precisely and you want to copy only a few songs to the Mac, without having to browse through all the folders of the "iPhone by", try iMazing.
iMazing is a very powerful software for transferring feles to and from iOS devices. It is extremely simple to use, but unfortunately it is not free: you can try it for free for 14 days, after which it costs around 34 euros.
To download it on your Mac, connect to its official website and click on the button Download placed under the heading iMazing on Mac OS X. Once the download is complete, open the package dmg just downloaded to your computer and install iMazing by copying its icon to the folder Applications in OS X.
At this point, start iMazing, connect the iPhone to the computer and select the item Music from the program sidebar. You well be shown the list of all the songs on the iPhone plus the ones that are avaelable on the cloud (associated with your Apple ID). To view only those actually avaelable on the device memory, click on the button options located at the bottom right and select the item Show only music avaelable offline give the menu check if you press.
Finally, select the songs to copy to the Mac and click on the button Export to iTunes to copy them to your iTunes library or to the button Export to folder to copy them to a folder on your computer.
