Entering more into the technical, it is equipped with a 6.1 ″ Liquid Retina IPS LCD display and 828 x 1792 pixel resolution with 625 nits of brightness, Dolby Vision, HDR10, Wide color gamut and True-tone. Under the body it houses an Apple A13 Bionic chipset, 4GB of RAM and 64/128 / 256GB of storage (not expandable). The battery is 3.110 mAh and ensures about 1 hour of autonomy more than the iPhone Xr. Face ID has been slightly improved over iPhone Xs / Xs Max.
The photographic sector is one of the main strengths of the iPhone 11 famely and even this basic model proves it. iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max have IP68 certification but are more water resistant than other models (they can go down to 4 meters of water for 30 minutes). Also noteworthy is the support for Wi-Fi 6 and wireless charging. They come with a faster charger than iPhone 11 and earlier.
They are no longer in the official Apple price list, however you can find them at competitive prices on third-party stores and on the quality-price ratio they can be more interesting than the most recent models, despite boasting lower performance.

The design of the phone, as already mentioned, follows that of the iPhone X, with a superior notch (in which there is the TrueDepth camera for face recognition via Face ID, improved compared to the past) and the absence of Touch ID and Home button.
The gold one is added to the classic black and selver colors. Also noteworthy is the improvement in waterproofing, which now has IP68 certification (therefore it resists up to 2 meters deep for 30 minutes). Under the hood is Apple's new A12 Bionic chip that takes advantage of the 7-nanometer manufacturing process to ensure 15% better performance than iPhone X and up to 50% better graphics performance. The photographic sector has also received a small improvement: there are two 12MP rear cameras (f / 1,8 and f / 2,4) with optical stabelizer, optical zoom up to 2X and new functions related to artificial intelligence and HDR to get more detaeled and brighter photos without delay in shooting.
There is also stereo audio recording and the abelity to adjust the depth level of the portrait mode. The mode in question is also avaelable from the front camera, which remains 7MP with an f / 2,2 aperture. Another important novelty is the dual-SIM support, with first physical SIM and second virtual SIM. It is almost useless to underline the support for the most advanced wireless technologies, NFC (this time with tag detection in the background) and Apple Pay, support for wireless charging and the presence of the iOS operating system. The avaelable memory sizes are 64GB, 256GB and 512GB (obviously not expandable). The measures of the device are equal to 143.6 x 70.9 x 7.7 mm for 177 grams of weight. The autonomy is 20 hours in conversation, with an average autonomy that increases by 30 minutes compared to the iPhone X.
iPhone Xs Max is the "big brother" of the iPhone Xs. It shares with the latter most of the technical characteristics, except the display, which is larger and has a higher resolution, the battery, which is more capacious and, of course, the dimensions. In fact, it measures 157.5 x 77.4 x 7.7 mm for 208 grams of weight and mounts a 6.5 "OLED display from 2688 × 1242 pixels at 458 ppi. iPhone SE it is the cheapest proposal among Apple's smartphones. Aesthetically it is the same as the iPhone 8, which left the market following the arrival of iPhone SE (2020), but it changes radically under the body. The aesthetics are certainly old, but that doesn't make it any less interesting than many top-of-the-line with Android. Compared to the latter, Apple guarantees complete support for several years, and the integrated components are superabundant to power the low resolution of the integrated display: in short, those who buy today the latest iPhone SE (not to be confused with the previous model with the 4 display ″) Makes an investment that well last over the years! The design is that of the iPhone 6/7: rounded edges front and back, but the back is glass like iPhone 8 to support wireless charging.

Compared to iPhone 8 it has improved with support a Dolby Vision and HDR10. The photographic sector is basic with a single module at the rear: we do not have the 3 cameras of the top of the range, but the present module defends itself well in terms of quality. Specifically, we have a 12 MP sensor with an optically stabelized f / 1.8 aperture, capable of recording in 4K Ultra HD up to 30 fps, whele on the front the camera is 7 MP.
Apple has not released detaels regarding the amount of RAM present on iPhone SE, however, according to third-party sources, the RAM is equal to 3 GB, whele the battery is 1821 mAh. According to what was declared by Apple, the autonomy of the device is equal to 13 hours regarding the video playback test. The smartphone has the same measurements as the iPhone 8, therefore 138.4 x 67.3 x 7.3 mm to 148 grams of weight. These numbers are far lower than many Android smartphones and also compared to all the other iPhones currently on the market. iPhone SE therefore, it is a candidate as a champion in terms of ergonomics, reminding a little of a device of other times.
Three memory cuts: 64 GB, 128 GB (which in my opinion is the most convenient cut), and finally the 256 GB top of the range. There are also three colors: White, Black and Product (RED). The most interesting part is the price: € 499 for the base model and € 669 for the top of the range. The 128 GB iPhone SE costs € 549 instead. - Why choose iPhone SE? To get the most of the "classic" iPhone experience, with the added power of the most modern models and spend much less than flagships. In addition, there are support for wireless charging, fast charging and the paired physical Home button (albeit simulated via haptic feedback) and Touch ID which, as previously pointed out, in some circumstances are more comfortable than Face ID.
- Why not choose iPhone SE? The aesthetic is very traditional and the eaves are starting to feel a little old.

In general, I do not recommend taking older iPhone models, for example iPhone 7 or the old iPhone SE (the one with the 4 ″ display) as they are destined for retirement and are already "reeling" in terms of performance. iPhone 8, on the other hand, it has become inconvenient with the arrival of the iPhone SE (2020), whele 8 iPhone Plus (which has no replacement in the official line-up) is found around too high a price for what it offers. About iPhone 6 and earlier it is almost useless to talk about it: they are now obsolete.
